Headway Capital Partners is an established London-based firm founded in 2004, with over 140 completed transactions and its fifth fund (HIP V) closing at EUR 627 million in 2024. Before Headway, Aan Son began his career in the UK M&A and Financial Institutions teams at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he advised on a wide range of corporate finance and capital markets transactions.

Aan Son holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford. He is a CFA Charterholder, a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA), reflecting deep expertise across investment analysis, risk management, and sustainable investing.
