Aaron Enz

Aaron Enz is a seasoned finance and business development professional based in the San Francisco Bay Area with over 18 years of experience spanning investment banking, corporate finance, and private capital markets. He has been involved in more than 50 transaction engagements and over $1 billion in financing assignments throughout his career. He currently serves as a Venture Advisor at ESIF Capital, LLC, an environmental and social impact venture fund and fund-of-funds headquartered at 2180 Sand Hill Road in Menlo Park, California, founded in 2023.

Aaron began his career at Wood Warren & Co., a boutique investment banking firm in San Francisco specializing in the food, beverage, and agriculture sectors, where he rose from Senior Associate to Vice President and Partner between 2001 and 2008. He subsequently joined Watershed Capital Group as a Partner from 2010 to 2014, where the firm advised fund managers and companies focused on sustainable business models and investment themes. From 2014 to 2020, he served as Vice President of Business Development at Alta Energy, Inc., a commercial renewable energy company, overseeing strategic relationships, financing partnerships, client engagements, and new product development. He then founded AltaE Partners, LLC, where he served as Managing Member from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to his role at ESIF Capital, Aaron is a Venture Partner at Tolero Ventures, a firm with deep domain knowledge across sustainable business sectors including water, energy efficiency, alternative energy, LED lighting, sustainable food, agriculture, and seafood.
