Before joining Tola Capital, Aaron built a multifaceted career spanning hedge fund investing, corporate M&A, and entrepreneurship. He began his career at a hedge fund in New York, then moved to Microsoft where he served as Corporate Strategy and M&A Manager. At Microsoft, he was responsible for strategic planning, product strategy, market analysis, deal evaluation, due diligence, and post-deal integration across acquisition targets ranging from $2M to $50B in valuation. Notably, his product strategy and synergy analysis contributed to the groundwork that led to Microsoft's $26 billion acquisition of LinkedIn, and he advised executives on enterprise SaaS, cloud, and search strategy.
Aaron also has firsthand entrepreneurial experience as the CEO and Founder of Wardrobe Wake-up, an eCommerce startup in the high-end apparel market that achieved revenue generation within nine months of launch. This dual perspective as both an operator and an investor informs his approach to identifying and supporting compelling technology companies. In 2024, he was named one of Venture Capital Journal's 40 Rising Stars under the age of 40, in recognition of his role in helping Tola Capital raise its third and largest fund at $230 million.
