Background

Aaron M. Gurewitz is the Co-Chief Executive Officer and Head of Investment Banking at ROTH Capital Partners (now operating as ROTH MKM following the 2023 acquisition of MKM Partners). He first joined Roth in April 1995 as a Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department, departed briefly to serve as Senior Vice President in the Investment Banking Group at Friedman Billings Ramsey (May 1998 to August 1999), and then returned to Roth in 1999 as a Managing Director. He has led the Equity Capital Markets Department since January 2001 and was subsequently elevated to President and ultimately Co-CEO. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Finance from San Diego State University.

With over 30 years of investment banking experience focused on growth companies, Gurewitz has managed more than 1,000 public offerings, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, PIPEs, registered directs, and confidentially marketed public offerings. Under his leadership, ROTH has raised over $100.5 billion through approximately 2,300 deals for small-cap and emerging growth companies across a broad range of sectors. He played a central role in ROTH's expansion through the 2023 acquisition of MKM Partners, an institutional equity trading, sales, and research firm headquartered in Stamford, CT, which added macroeconomic, technical, and derivatives capabilities to the platform.

Beyond his work at ROTH, Gurewitz has been deeply involved in the firm's SPAC franchise. He served as Co-President of five Roth CH Acquisition vehicles (I through V), collectively representing approximately $475 million in capital raised. Four of the five SPACs have completed transactions with zero failures, spanning healthcare and business services targets. His estimated net worth is at least $9 million as of early 2026.
