Aaron Perry

Aaron Perry is an accomplished entrepreneur, investor, and technology executive with over 25 years of experience building and scaling companies. He graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Finance and Marketing (1994-1998), which laid the foundation for his career spanning technology, cybersecurity, and investment management.

Perry began his career in business development and sales roles across various technology companies, leading significant sales efforts to Fortune 1000 clients. His entrepreneurial journey includes founding APTEC, LLC, a cybersecurity services firm specializing in digital transformation and identity security. Under his leadership as President & Founder, APTEC grew to become a recognized player in the cybersecurity space. In 2017, APTEC was acquired and integrated into Focal Point Data Risk, where Perry served as Board Observer. This strategic consolidation brought together multiple cybersecurity firms backed by $100 million in committed equity from Norwest Equity Partners and Halyard Capital. The combined entity, Focal Point Data Risk, was subsequently acquired by CDW Corporation, a Fortune 500 company and leading technology solutions provider, in July 2021.

In 2018, Perry founded Perry Enterprises LLC, a family office based in Potomac, Maryland, focused on investing across multiple asset classes with an emphasis on non-correlated assets, alternative investments, and philanthropy. The firm seeks to generate returns above the S&P 500 index while creating local and national impact through strategic investments. In January 2020, Perry also launched Trilagen, where he currently serves as President. Trilagen is a digital transformation and cloud security firm operating as an Advanced Consulting Partner in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network, specializing in AI/ML, data analytics, cloud-native application development, and identity security services for enterprise clients across North America.

Perry is also an active member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore Chapter, a global leadership community of chief executives. His skill set encompasses entrepreneurship, enterprise architecture, professional services, information security, and IT strategy, positioning him as both an operator and investor in technology-enabled businesses.
