Background

Aaron Rosenson is a General Partner at Aleph, one of Israel's leading early-stage venture capital firms. He joined Aleph in April 2016 as the firm's third equal partner, alongside co-founders Michael Eisenberg and Eden Shochat. With over a decade of experience in venture capital, Aaron has established himself as a prominent investor in Israeli technology startups spanning enterprise software, fintech, and consumer internet.

Aaron began his career at Insight Partners (formerly Insight Venture Partners), a prominent growth equity and venture capital firm based in New York City. During his four years at Insight, Aaron worked as an associate where he sourced and evaluated early-stage deals that would become some of the most successful companies in the portfolio. He is credited with identifying investments in HelloFresh (now publicly traded on Xetra: HFG), WalkMe (NASDAQ: WKME), Moat (acquired by Oracle), Gainsight (acquired by Vista Equity Partners), and Docker. Beyond deal sourcing, Aaron also led M&A strategy and business development efforts on behalf of Insight's portfolio companies and served as a strategic advisor to several of the firm's CEOs.

Aaron graduated magna cum laude from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, one of the world's premier business schools. His academic excellence and rigorous training in finance provided a strong foundation for his career in venture capital.

In 2022, leveraging his decade-plus experience observing the challenges founders face with concentrated equity positions, Aaron co-founded Aption alongside Alon Zieve (former CFO/COO of Bringg, Seeking Alpha, and Natural Intelligence). As Co-Founder and Chief Information Officer at Aption, Aaron developed a platform that helps startup founders and early employees diversify and protect their equity through AI-driven pooling technology. The company raised $2.4M in funding in 2023 to expand its equity pooling services. This entrepreneurial venture reflects Aaron's deep commitment to supporting founders not just through capital deployment, but through innovative financial solutions that address real pain points in the startup ecosystem.

Aaron embodies Aleph's core values: a tireless work ethic on behalf of entrepreneurs, strong business ethics, transparency in all dealings, commitment to Zionism and supporting Israeli entrepreneurship, and dedication to serving both entrepreneurs and the broader technology community.
