Aashna Mehra is a Vice President at Energy Capital Partners (ECP), one of the leading private equity firms focused on energy transition infrastructure. She joined ECP in 2022 after building significant experience in clean energy investing at New Energy Capital Partners and Greenbacker Capital. At age 27, she was recognized on the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Energy, reflecting her early impact in the renewable energy investment sector.

Mehra graduated from Princeton University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Mechanical Engineering, graduating cum laude. During her undergraduate studies, she also earned a Certificate in Materials Science from Princeton. Her academic focus on mechanical engineering and materials science provided a strong technical foundation for understanding energy systems and infrastructure technologies. Following her undergraduate degree, she gained diverse experience across laboratory work with battery technology and public policy, including serving as a Legislative Assistant to Jyotiraditya M. She serves as a member of the firm's Compliance Committee and holds a board seat at Cornerstone Generation, reflecting her growing leadership responsibilities in the energy investment community.
