Abhijit Phanse is a distinguished technology entrepreneur, investor, and executive with over two decades of experience in building, scaling, and investing in high-growth technology companies. He currently serves as Managing Partner of Accelon Capital, a private equity investment firm he co-founded with three professors from Stanford University in the early 2000s. Accelon Capital specializes in investing in cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS) technologies that enable businesses to transform into agile, digital, and connected enterprises.

Abhijit earned his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, one of India's premier engineering institutions. He furthered his education with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an M.S. in Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business, combining deep technical expertise with business acumen. Before founding Accelon Capital, Abhijit held global leadership positions at National Semiconductor, where he led the development and commercialization of multiple generations of Ethernet networking products. His technical contributions to the semiconductor and networking industries are evidenced by his authorship of numerous technical publications and his portfolio of over 50 U.S. patents, demonstrating sustained innovation in high-performance computing and networking technologies.

Abhijit's entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding Scintera Networks, a high-performance semiconductor company focused on signal processors for data centers and wireless networks. Under his leadership as CEO, Scintera achieved successful exits through acquisitions by INPHI (NYSE) and later Maxim Integrated (NASDAQ: MXIM), validating his ability to build companies from inception to profitable exit. This operational experience has informed his investment philosophy and ability to guide portfolio companies through growth stages.

As CEO of the Accelon group of companies—UnitedLayer, United Private Cloud, and UnityOneCloud—Abhijit leads a vertically integrated portfolio serving the enterprise cloud infrastructure market. UnitedLayer operates as a hybrid colocation infrastructure provider with presence across 25+ core and 175+ edge data centers globally, established in 2001 and headquartered in Santa Clara. United Private Cloud delivers software-defined private cloud solutions, while UnityOneCloud provides a SaaS platform for hybrid and multicloud management. Together, these companies serve enterprises across telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, public sector, retail, and energy sectors across Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
