Background

Ahmad Sheikh is publicly identified by SFW Capital Partners as a Partner in 2024 firm press releases. SFW Capital Partners is a private equity firm founded in 2007 and focused on building market-leading companies in the industrial and life sciences technology sector. The firm says it partners with profitable founder- and family-owned companies and uses capital, strategic and operational resources, and a sector-specific network to support growth-oriented investments.

The clearest public deal-specific reference to Sheikh is SFW’s August 23, 2024 announcement of the sale of Micromeritics Instrument Corporation to Spectris plc. In that release, Sheikh is quoted discussing SFW’s partnership with Micromeritics CEO Terry Kelly and the executive leadership team, noting that the company had market-leading technology and deep customer relationships when SFW acquired it and that the team built on that foundation to drive growth and profitability.

In July 2024, Sheikh was also quoted in SFW’s announcement that Peter Conzola had joined the firm as Vice President, Head of Business Development. Sheikh described Conzola as bringing a network and middle-market private equity business-development experience to strengthen SFW’s sourcing efforts.

I could not verify Sheikh’s education, pre-SFW career history, personal LinkedIn URL, or direct email from public primary sources. The current public SFW team page reviewed during this research did not provide a dedicated Sheikh biography.
