Alex Cooley

Alex Cooley earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Global Affairs (Summa Cum Laude, With Distinction) from Yale University, completing his studies from 2013 to 2017. He began his finance career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Industrials Group at Citigroup, where he worked on financial analysis and modeling for industrial-sector clients.

In 2019, Cooley joined SK Capital Partners as an Associate on the firm's investment team. SK Capital is a New York–headquartered private investment firm focused on the specialty materials, chemicals, ingredients, life sciences, and pharmaceuticals sectors, managing roughly $7 billion in assets (figures cited in the $6.6B–$7.9B range across sources). The firm's portfolio companies collectively generate approximately $15 billion in annual revenue, employ more than 20,000 people, and operate close to 200 plants across more than 30 countries.
