Aliya Khaydarova

Aliya Khaydarova is a Partner and Managing Principal at Inverness Graham Investments, a lower-middle-market private equity firm based in the Philadelphia suburbs that pursues a proprietary "Strategic Platform Build" approach to acquiring companies where technology is reshaping traditional industries. She joined the firm in 2008 and has spent her entire private equity career there, rising from associate to principal (promoted in April 2017) and ultimately to managing principal and Investment Committee member. Her responsibilities span the full deal lifecycle — sourcing new investment opportunities, leading due diligence, negotiating acquisition and financing transactions, and providing post-investment, value-creation support to portfolio companies.

Before joining Inverness Graham, Khaydarova worked in investment banking as an associate at the Philadelphia-based middle-market firm Mufson Howe Hunter & Company, where she handled financial analysis, valuation, and due-diligence coordination for growth-company engagements. Her earlier experience also includes time at Susquehanna International Group.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, summa cum laude, from Drexel University (2005) and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (2015). Over her tenure she has worked on or closed more than 30 buyout transactions, including three of the firm's most successful exits to date — RacoWireless, AdvancedCath, and Danville Materials.

Khaydarova has been recognized for her work in healthcare investing, named to GrowthCap's "Top 25 Healthcare Investors of 2023" and to GrowthCap's "Top Women Leaders in Growth Investing of 2024." She currently serves on the boards of several Inverness Graham portfolio companies.

• Targets companies where technology is transforming a traditional industry, concentrated in healthcare/healthcare IT, software, and advanced manufacturing (the firm's Flagship strategy).

• Firm typically deploys ~$20M–$80M of equity in businesses valued up to ~$75M, emphasizing buy-and-build / "Strategic Platform Build" value creation through add-on acquisitions.
