Background
Alon Debbi is a Managing Director on the corporate private equity investment team at White Wolf Capital LLC, a private investment firm founded in late 2011 that makes control equity and private credit investments in North American middle-market companies. He joined White Wolf in September 2015 as an Analyst — one of the firm's earliest employees — and rose through the ranks over roughly eight years: promoted to Senior Associate in February 2020, then to Vice President, and finally to Managing Director in March 2023 (announced alongside the promotion of Andres Gutierrez).
Before entering finance, Debbi served in the Israel Defense Forces, reaching the rank of sergeant first class in an intelligence unit within the IDF's Special Forces. He earned an MBA from Columbia Business School (Executive MBA program, 2018–2020), which he completed while working at White Wolf and helping lead multiple acquisition closings.
In 2021, Debbi — then a Vice President — was named one of ten honorees of the ACG Middle Market Growth (MMG) Young Professional Awards, a recognition of rising talent in middle-market dealmaking. Around that time he was credited with helping create a new roll-up strategy focused on anti-terrorism and force-protection construction services, a thesis that maps directly onto White Wolf's later defense-oriented platform work.
Note: some investor-aggregator profiles label Debbi an "angel investor" focused on "seed" rounds. That characterization is not supported by primary sources — his work is institutional, control-oriented private equity in the lower-middle market, not early-stage startup investing.
Investment Thesis & Focus
- Invests through White Wolf's private equity and private credit strategies in established North American middle-market companies (~$20M–$200M revenue; up to ~$20M EBITDA), not startups.
- Focus on management buyouts, recapitalizations, and "buy-and-build" platforms — acquiring a platform company and scaling it through operationally-focused add-on acquisitions.
- Sector affinity for government/defense services and force protection, reflected in his creation of an anti-terrorism / force-protection construction-services roll-up thesis and White Wolf's related platforms.
- Also active across business services, IT staffing/consulting, industrials, and specialty contracting, consistent with White Wolf's portfolio.
- On what he values (from his ACG award remarks): *"Your ability to be a team player, remain humble, and stay confident, despite all the challenges you face."*
Notable Investments
- Haven Dynamics — Holding company White Wolf formed to acquire North American providers of rapidly deployable mobile infrastructure and shelter systems for defense, disaster-relief, and government sectors; aligns with Debbi's force-protection roll-up thesis.
- JS Global — Maryland-based government-services contractor building anti-terrorism and force-protection systems; recapitalized by White Wolf.
- Consulting Solutions International (CSI IT) — IT consulting/staffing platform recapitalized by White Wolf; later acquired iBridge Solutions (St. Louis IT staffing firm).
- Pacific Power & Systems (PPS) — Electrical-services platform backed by White Wolf; acquired Adkins Electric (Jacksonville, FL) to expand across Northern Florida and the Southeast.
