Anders Haack Ibsen

Anders Haack Ibsen is a Danish internet entrepreneur who has been building companies since 1996, when — around age 18 — he started his first business, Netbase Interactive (registered under "Anders Ibsen Hansen"), which he ran until 2002. He has worked with Google and online marketing since 2002, and in 2005 was part of the first cohort of Google Partners, graduating from Google's headquarters. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science from Copenhagen Business School (CBS).

Over the following years he founded and sold several companies, working as a consultant during his studies and exiting a business in late 2015. Shortly after that exit he was approached by Bo Krogsgaard — whom he knew through mutual networks — and in 2016 the two launched Cobiro, a Copenhagen-based platform that used AI to automate Google Ads and Google Shopping campaigns for small and medium-sized businesses. Ibsen served as Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), responsible for commercial activities. Cobiro grew to 80+ employees with offices in Copenhagen, Warsaw and San Francisco, reached customers in 189 countries, managed more than 2 billion DKK in ad budgets, and raised roughly $5.9M (including ~28M DKK in soft funding backed by Nordic Innovators and Markedsmodningsfonden).

Since Cobiro, Ibsen has continued as a founder-operator and investor. In 2023 he co-founded (with Kris Ewald) Avelyn, a cross-border wine marketplace connecting 1,500+ wineries and 6,000+ wines shipping directly to European consumers, where he is CEO. In 2024 he co-founded Savery.ai (also with Kris Ewald), an enterprise agentic-AI "staging" platform that automates code creation, refactoring and legacy-code migration, with an emphasis on private-cloud hosting and data privacy. His investment and board activity runs through his holding company AI HOLDING ApS (established 2003), which he owns and directs.

His stated operating philosophy is customer-first: "Man har altid én chef – og det er kunden" ("You always have one boss — and that's the customer").
