Andrzej Targosz

Andrzej Targosz is a serial technology entrepreneur, community-builder, and investor based in Kraków, Poland, often described as one of the "gurus" of the Polish startup ecosystem. He holds a Master of Science in Robotics from AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków (1997–2002) and has been building companies since the age of 17. Over his career he has founded or led more than six companies, most prominently the PROIDEA Foundation — organizer of premier Polish tech and startup conferences (including the Bitspiration Festival) — and Eventory, an event-management software platform (web, mobile, and beacon technology) widely used at major IT, business-services, and banking conferences in Poland. Eventory was later acquired and now operates as "Eventory by 6connex."

His startup and investing journey scaled up around 2014, and as an angel he became an early backer of several notable Polish hardware and deep-tech companies — Estimote (Bluetooth/IoT beacons), Intelclinic (the Neuroon smart sleep-mask/wearable), and JIVR (a foldable, chainless electric bike), among others.

In 2020, Targosz co-founded Bitspiration Booster VC alongside Paulina Mazurek, Robert Chang, and Wojciech Burkot, growing it out of the Bitspiration Festival community. Bitspiration positions itself as one of the only early-stage, deep-tech VCs in the region focused on "resilient technologies," and reports having deployed $10M+ across 30+ breakthrough-technology companies. Targosz serves as Co-Founder and Managing/General Partner, sourcing and backing science- and engineering-heavy founders across CEE.
