Background

Andy Wilkins co-founded Atlantic Street Capital at its inception in October 2006 and serves as Co-Managing Partner, overseeing the full investment lifecycle — deal sourcing, due diligence, execution, deal financing, portfolio management, capital raising, and senior-management development. Regulatory filings list him as a Managing Member since January 1, 2009, with an ownership stake in the management company of between 25% and 50%. He holds a B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University (2002).

Before founding Atlantic Street, Wilkins built a career in leveraged finance and private equity. He worked at Audax Group's Mezzanine Fund, where he invested mezzanine and equity capital in leveraged buyouts. Prior to Audax, he was in the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance Group at CIBC World Markets, financing leveraged buyout transactions for private equity sponsors. Earlier still, he served in the Mergers & Acquisitions / General Industrials Group at Bank of America Securities.

Atlantic Street has grown substantially under his leadership, raising a succession of funds from Fund I (2006) through Fund V (a 2025-vintage fund), with roughly $2 billion in assets under management reported by third-party trackers. The firm positions itself as "the operational engine for ambitious entrepreneurs and management teams," pairing capital with hands-on operational support. Wilkins has sat on numerous portfolio-company boards over the firm's history, including Zips Car Wash, Prescott's, Uniguest, Tambourine, eIVF, OrthoBethesda / Aligned Orthopedic Partners, Lori's Gifts, Sunrise Transportation, and GAT Airline Ground Support.
