Background

Arnaud Rodrigue joined Cukierman & Co. Investment House in October 2018, where he serves as Managing Partner of the firm's New Mobility & AI practice and as a Partner in its Life Sciences group. Cukierman & Co., founded in 1993 and led by Chairman & Co-CEO Edouard Cukierman, is one of Israel's leading corporate-finance investment houses, spanning corporate finance, life sciences, high tech, mobility & AI, foodtech/agritech, real estate and secondary markets, with international offices across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. The group is also associated with the Catalyst family of private-equity funds and the Catalyst Investors' Club.

His career began in investment banking and consulting in Europe. He was a partner at OSP Partners in Paris and New York, handling exclusive mandates for clients including Siemens and Vivendi. Earlier he ran Ingersoll Engineers, an international consulting firm focused on new product development and project management, which he sold to Orgaconseil (later Sopra Conseil).

Rodrigue holds a PhD from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris and had a notable academic career at HEC Paris, where he was described as the youngest Maître de Conférences and then Professor. He co-founded the Start-Up Jury at HEC Paris and served on the design-engineering jury at MINES ParisTech (L'École des Mines de Paris).

After relocating to Israel, he built and operated several ventures — including a luxury desert hotel, the Israeli EdTech company Learni, and an early management role at SpaceIL. He co-founded Volleto (a CRM platform aimed at luxury brands) in 2015 and, since 2023, has been CEO of SocialLens. Since July 2020 he has also been a Partner at AnD Ventures, an early-stage Israeli VC firm.

Investment Thesis & Focus

  • Invests through Cukierman & Co. in New Mobility & AI and Life Sciences, and as a Partner at AnD Ventures in early-stage Israeli startups.
  • AnD Ventures targets "early stage Israeli startups powered by extraordinary founders & cutting-edge technologies," emphasizing AI/ML and data, and prefers revenue-generating companies seeking product-market fit.
  • Favors an operationally hands-on model — AnD provides "operational funding, hands-on talent, and U.S.-based growth initiatives," plus support on fundraising, market validation and go-to-market — rather than purely passive capital.
  • Strong Israel nexus: companies that are Israeli or Israel-related, typically with ambitions for international / U.S. expansion.
  • His own background as a founder and operator (Volleto, SocialLens, Learni, SpaceIL) signals a bias toward founder quality and execution over pure financial engineering.

Notable Investments

  • AnD Ventures portfolio (firm-level, where he is a Partner):
  • Conntour — AI-based security-camera monitoring.
  • VineSight — brand protection against misinformation and coordinated toxic attacks.
  • Ludeo — playable/social media platform for gamers.
  • Onebeat — retail inventory and demand-alignment software.
  • Rogue — GenAI content proofreading and qualification platform.
  • Founder / operator roles (not third-party investments, included for context):
  • Volleto — CRM platform for luxury brands (co-founded 2015).
  • SocialLens — company where he has served as CEO since 2023.
  • SpaceIL — Israeli nonprofit lunar-mission organization (early management role).
