Background
Aurélie Tocatlian Zecca is a Franco-Italian energy-transition professional and former infrastructure investor at Demeter. France Invest says she joined Demeter’s infrastructure team in 2019 after nine years at Engie and an earlier stint at Suez. Her operating background centered on heat infrastructure: she first worked on the operation of the Paris district-heating network at CPCU, then became responsible for developing green decentralized heat production in connection with Paris’s energy-transition and smart-district programs.
Nomination reported in April 2022 that she had been appointed Director of International Projects at Idex, effective February 2022, reporting to Julien Rojo, Director of International Development. The same source lists her prior roles as 2019-2022 Investment Manager, Infrastructure at Demeter Partners; 2017-2019 Head of green decentralized heat production and smart buildings at Engie; and 2014-2017 Head of technical department at Compagnie Parisienne de Chauffage Urbain.
Her education includes an engineering degree in processes and production from École de Biologie Industrielle in 2011. Nomination also reports that she was an auditor at École du Louvre in 2015 in history, criticism and conservation of art. France Invest notes that she has been a member of its Climate and Talents & Diversity commissions, Level20, and the first under-35 board of France Invest.
Her current public role is no longer a fund-investing role. Idex describes her as Director of International Projects overseeing organic-growth and acquisition projects, supporting the International Development Department.
