Background

Axel Siepmann is a Hamburg-based corporate-finance and investment professional. CFC Corporate Finance Contor lists him as a Managing Partner, and its team page provides his direct office phone number. The CFC imprint also names him as a managing director of CFC Corporate Finance Contor GmbH.

Earlier in his career, Siepmann studied economic sciences and real estate economics in Bochum, Nice and Oestrich-Winkel. A Capital Link speaker biography says he began his career in 1995 at Price Waterhouse Corporate Finance, working in company valuation, due diligence, real estate, M&A and restructuring. From 1999 to 2006 he was a partner at Sietz & Partner, a London- and Frankfurt-based corporate-finance firm focused on M&A, IPO advisory and privatizations.

From 2006 to 2008, he served on the board of listed MPC Capital AG, where he was responsible for new product development and M&A. In 2009, he co-founded NAVES Corporate Finance with partners; NAVES advised the maritime industry on restructuring, financing and transactions and was later acquired by Braemar, where Siepmann took a leadership role in the financial division.

In 2017, Hamburger Sparkasse and NAVES-related principals created CFC Corporate Finance Contor as a joint venture serving the German Mittelstand in strategic financing and transaction advisory. In 2026, Siepmann and Mark Kuchenbecker, as shareholders of CFC Beteiligungsgesellschaft, joined FIBONA to launch INREVION, a strategic investment, restructuring and participation company focused on real estate and real-estate-adjacent company investments.

Investment Thesis & Focus

  • INREVION’s stated focus is to identify, structure, develop, restructure and realize valuable investment opportunities in real estate and operating-company participations, especially real-estate-adjacent businesses.
  • The platform targets existing properties from core to opportunistic, distressed assets and special situations, project developments and company participations, and can invest on its own account, with partners or through structured participation models.
  • Siepmann’s public quote on INREVION emphasizes combining CFC’s financial restructuring experience with FIBONA’s project-development, asset-management and hospitality expertise: “Gemeinsam können wir Investoren und Finanzierungspartnern ganzheitliche Lösungen anbieten.”
  • CFC’s advisory focus is strategic corporate financing, restructuring and refinancing of liabilities, real estate financing, acquisitions, succession and company sales for German Mittelstand clients.
  • Public sources do not verify a seed-stage angel-investing check size for Siepmann; the documented investment activity is later-stage, real-asset, restructuring and corporate-finance oriented.
