Investment Thesis & Focus
- NMP describes its strategy as early growth equity for rapidly scaling B2B technology and healthcare companies.
- The firm's stated investment criteria include 50%+ year-over-year growth, compelling unit economics, $2M-20M revenue run rate, $5M-20M target investment size, significant market-disruption potential, and less than $20M of prior funding.
- Sector focus is concentrated in technology and healthcare: B2B technology, AI, services, cybersecurity, supply chain and industrial, data and information services, e-commerce, retail and fintech, healthcare AI, care delivery, payer/employer solutions, provider workflows, and pharmacy services/technology.
- NMP says it supports companies through domain expertise, active board participation, and its network at key growth inflection points.
- Hudson's personal role is CFO / administrative partner rather than a named sector investment lead; his investment involvement appears most directly tied to deal structuring, financial matters, and board/observer work on selected portfolio companies.
Notable Investments
- Dealer Services Corporation - Inventory-financing technology company for independent auto dealers; NMP was a primary investor from the company's 2005 founding, and Dealer Services was acquired by Manheim, a Cox Enterprises subsidiary, in 2012. Hudson is listed on the NMP team for the company.
- Gateway One Lending & Finance - Auto-finance company based in Alpharetta, Georgia; acquired by TCF Financial Corporation in 2011, with more than 3,200 active dealer relationships and loan originations in 30 states at the time of acquisition. Hudson is listed on the NMP team for the company.
