Bonar Chhay

Bonar Chhay is the Founder and Managing Partner of Felicitas Global Partners, a Pasadena, California–based alternative investment firm he established (reported founding around 2012). He oversees all of the firm's investment activities, operations, governance, and business development, serves as lead portfolio manager for the firm's pooled vehicles, and sits on its investment committee. Felicitas manages roughly $838 million in regulatory assets under management (reported as of March 31, 2026; approximately $865 million was cited as of December 31, 2024) and has been investing in private credit for over a decade.

Earlier in his career, Bonar spent six years with the multi-billion-dollar J. He began his career as an investment analyst at Contango Capital Advisors, the wealth-management arm of Zions Bank, where he performed due diligence on alternative investments.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a CFA charterholder. He is registered as an investment adviser (SEC IAPD/adviserinfo record).
