Brad Jones is a Principal at SE Ventures, the venture capital arm of Schneider Electric, where he has served since October 2022. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Technological Entrepreneurship from the University of Virginia, where he graduated with distinction as a Phi Beta Kappa member.
Brad began his career as the inaugural non-founder employee at Babylon Micro-Farms, an agricultural technology startup providing automated vertical farming solutions for commercial operations (the company has raised over $10M to date). He then moved into investment banking, working as a Technology Group Analyst at DC Advisory from July 2017 to August 2019, where he gained experience in M&A and capital markets advisory for technology companies.
From September 2019 to October 2022, Brad served as an Associate and later Senior Associate at Blumberg Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm with approximately $750M in AUM focused on enterprise software. During his time at Blumberg Capital, he sourced six investments, served as board observer for three portfolio companies, and his investment selections have collectively raised over $80M in follow-on funding. He joined SE Ventures in October 2022 as a Principal.
