Bradley Singer

Bradley "Brad" Singer is a longtime finance executive whose career spans investment banking, corporate CFO roles, and activist investing. He began as an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co., spending roughly four years in New York and London. He then served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of American Tower Corporation, the wireless and broadcast tower infrastructure company, from December 2001 to June 2008.

In July 2008 he became Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Discovery Communications, where he played a central role in taking the company public in 2008. He held that role until March 2012, when he joined the activist investment firm ValueAct Capital as a Partner. At ValueAct he rose to Partner and Chief Operating Officer, and represented the firm on the boards of major companies including Motorola Solutions and Rolls-Royce Holdings plc. He retired from ValueAct in December 2021.

After his retirement from ValueAct, Singer remained active as a public-company director. He has served on the boards of Sweetgreen (chairing its audit committee since 2021), Redfin Corporation (joined March 2022), Warby Parker, and Crown Castle (joined January 2024) — a notable appointment given he was previously CFO of Crown Castle's chief rival, American Tower. His earlier board service included Citizens Communications and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

In August 2025, Warner Bros. Discovery named Singer as Chief Financial Officer for the post-separation Warner Bros. (the studios and streaming business), reuniting him with CEO David Zaslav, with whom he had worked at Discovery. He stepped into a strategic role in October 2025 ahead of the corporate separation expected to complete around mid-2026. Singer holds a B.S. from the University of Virginia (McIntire School of Commerce, where he also serves on the advisory board) and an M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School. He chairs the National Board of the Posse Foundation.
