Background

Bridget Storm is a Partner and the Chief Financial Officer of Innovation Endeavors, the Palo Alto–based early-stage venture capital firm co-founded in 2010 by former Google/Alphabet chairman Eric Schmidt (alongside Dror Berman, Scott Brady, and others). She joined the firm in 2019 and runs its finance, fund operations, and administrative functions rather than sourcing deals — a partner-level operating role focused on managing the firm's funds and back office.

Before Innovation Endeavors, Storm was Chief Financial Officer at Makena Capital Management, a large (~$20B) multi–asset class endowment-style investment management firm. Earlier in her career she spent roughly six years with JPMorgan, working within JPMorgan Partners and JPMorgan Private Equity Fund Services (PEFS). Prior to JPMorgan she ran her own accounting consulting practice for about five years, and began her career as an Audit Senior at Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand (predecessors to today's PwC) over roughly five years.

Storm holds a bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University and a master's degree from Washington State University. She is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), credentials consistent with her career-long focus on fund finance, audit, and investment operations.

At Innovation Endeavors, Storm operates within a firm whose thesis — the "Super Evolution" — argues that the convergence of abundant data, cheap computational capacity, and advanced engineering is compressing the timeline for building transformative companies across health, climate, infrastructure, and the physical economy.

Investment Thesis & Focus

  • Storm's role is financial and operational leadership of the fund; she is not the primary contact for pitching new investments. Founders seeking capital should target the firm's investing partners, while Storm is the relevant contact for LP/fund finance, portfolio finance, and operational matters.
  • Firm thesis ("Super Evolution"): back mission-driven technical founders solving hard engineering and science problems that can reshape large industries.
  • Firm stages: primarily seed and Series A, with selective follow-on into later rounds.
  • Firm sectors: engineered/computational health, climate and energy, computing infrastructure, intelligent software, robotics and AI, and the "physical economy."
  • Firm geography: concentrated in the U.S., with the team and network centered in Silicon Valley.
