Chlue Novene

Chloé Novène is a French venture capital investor specializing in fintech. She holds a master's in management (Grande École) from HEC Paris, as well as a joint MSc in Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris and École Polytechnique. Her academic background in entrepreneurship shaped an early move into early-stage investing.

She began her VC career at ALLVP (since rebranded Hi Ventures), a tier-1 Mexican venture firm based in Mexico City, where she worked from roughly 2020 to 2022 as an analyst/associate on the fintech team. There she sourced and helped evaluate multiple fintech deals across Latin America — the origin of the `@allvp.vc` email and the Mexico City phone number in the stub. During this period she authored public investment memos on ALLVP's blog and Medium, including "Why (and how!) we invested in Flink" (Feb 2021) and "Why we invested in Mendel" (Dec 2021), and a widely-shared analysis "Unpacking Nubank's IPO filing."

After ALLVP, she was tasked with setting up the Spanish-speaking LatAm fintech investment strategy for Hedosophia in Mexico, giving her hands-on experience building a fund presence in a new market. In 2024 she joined BlackFin Capital Partners — a leading European fintech-focused investment firm headquartered in Paris — as an Investment Manager on the Venture Team, where she now focuses on European fintechs from Series A to Series C. In this role she has led/co-led deals such as WeeFin's 2025 round.
