Chris Stevens

Chris Stevens is an Australian financial-services executive who spent the bulk of his career in superannuation and custody banking in Sydney. Before joining Rest, he spent roughly 14 years at JPMorgan, working in the custody division and finishing that chapter leading a project to implement a new reporting system for the firm.

He served as Chief Financial Officer of Rest (Retail Employees Superannuation Trust) — one of Australia's largest industry super funds, established in 1988 — for more than a decade, from around 2008. His CFO role was made redundant in late 2018 as part of an executive restructure that followed the May 2018 appointment of Vicki Doyle as chief executive.

After leaving Rest, Stevens consulted for several organisations, including a customer-remediation project with Colonial First State (CFS) and a custodial review for Funds SA. He was then hired by Grow Super (Grow Inc), a superannuation administration and technology provider, as GM of Finance and Tax. He publicly noted his last day at Grow Inc in 2025, and his LinkedIn now lists his status as retired.
