Cora Binchy

Cora Binchy is a Partner at Stonehage Fleming, one of the world's largest independent multi-family offices, and since June 2024 has served as the Group's Head of Fiduciary. She joined the firm in 1987 and has spent more than three decades there, making her one of its longest-serving senior figures. She began her career in Switzerland, where she helped establish the Group's fiduciary team and trustee services, before relocating to the firm's Jersey office to lead its fiduciary team and build out its trustee and executor capabilities.

In her Head of Fiduciary role — reporting to Mark McMullen, CEO of the Family Office division — she oversees Stonehage Fleming's fiduciary businesses across Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Switzerland, Monaco, Malta and Mauritius, and is responsible for maintaining fiduciary risk-management standards across those jurisdictions. Her day-to-day work centres on serving international high-net-worth families with trust, estate-planning, succession and executor services.

Educationally, Binchy holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from Trinity College Dublin. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients, and holds the Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK. She has been named in the Citywealth IFC Power Women Top 100 and its Top 20 Leading Trustees lists, and is recognised within the firm as a mentor and a driver of diversity and the advancement of women in the business.
