Earvin Johnson

Earvin "Magic" Johnson is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Magic Johnson Enterprises, which describes itself as an investment conglomerate focused primarily on ethnically diverse and underserved urban communities. The company was formed in 1987 and has built a portfolio spanning consumer services, restaurants, entertainment, insurance, infrastructure, sports ownership, and startup investments.

Johnson first became nationally known as a basketball player. He won the 1979 NCAA championship at Michigan State, was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, and won five NBA championships with the team.
