Edward Antczak

Edward Antczak is a Canadian portfolio manager with more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He began his career in private wealth management in 1986 at the Royal Trust Company, then moved to the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (Québec's large public pension manager) as a financial analyst. He subsequently served as a portfolio manager for the Rio Tinto Alcan pension fund, where he managed Canadian equities — the connection that explains the legacy `alcan.com` email in the original record (Alcan was acquired by Rio Tinto in 2007).

He joined Triasima Portfolio Management in 2012 as a portfolio manager. At Triasima, a Montréal-based, employee-owned boutique founded in 2000 that manages on the order of $3 billion in assets, Edward has been involved in the firm's Canadian equity strategies, focusing on fundamental research of Canadian large- and mid-cap companies. He is registered as an Advising Representative with the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), Québec's securities regulator.

On the academic and credentials side, Edward holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal (Université de Montréal) and a Master of Economics from the University of Gdańsk in Poland. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Note: Edward does not appear on Triasima's current public team roster (which lists portfolio managers such as Redouane Khireddine, Nicola Haratonian, and Simon Turner), which suggests he may have since retired or departed the firm. Third-party business directories still list him as a Triasima portfolio manager, but his current status could not be confirmed from a primary source.
