Eric Bruck

Eric Bruck is Principal-Emeritus for Community Relations and Business Development at Silver Oak Wealth Advisors in Los Angeles. Silver Oak describes itself as a financial life planning firm and SEC Registered Investment Adviser focused on individuals in transition and executives in the Greater Los Angeles area and beyond.

Bruck has worked in the financial-planning profession since 1988 and developed his first financial plan for a client in 1981. He first registered as an Investment Adviser Representative in 1984 and received his CFP® designation in 1988. In 2016, he and other Silver Oak principals earned the Certified Financial Transitionist® designation to support clients navigating major life transitions.

Earlier in his career, Bruck co-founded and served as principal of Bruck & Caine Advisory, an investment management and planning firm in Culver City. A 1999 Los Angeles Times panelist bio described his work as investment management and financial planning with emphasis on “second half” life transition planning and management since 1984, and noted that he holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA.
