Flavio Terlizzi

Flavio Di Terlizzi co-founded L&B Partners S.p.A. in Milan in 2004 and has served as its Managing Partner since inception. The firm is an independent financial-advisory house focused on the infrastructure and energy sectors; he founded it alongside Michele Di Terlizzi. Di Terlizzi holds a degree in the economics of financial institutions and markets ("economia delle istituzioni e dei mercati finanziari") from Università Bocconi, which he attended from 1997 to 2002. Early in his career he spent roughly a year at Citigroup in the Corporate Banking division and a year at Interbanca as an analyst on the equity-investment team.

His career has centered on the renewable-energy and cleantech space. In 2011 he co-founded L&B Capital S.p.A., an investment vehicle specialized in renewable energy, where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. In 2012 he co-founded Evolvere S.p.A., which grew into one of Italy's leading distributed-generation ("smart energy") companies — a stake in Evolvere was acquired by Eni gas e luce (Eni Plenitude), with Eni taking 70% from L&B Capital and Enventi and later moving to full ownership around 2019–2020.

Across his career, Di Terlizzi has led financial-advisory work on transactions worth over €5.5 billion, corresponding to more than 4 GW of energy generation capacity. More recently he has been associated with L&B Capital SGR as Chief Investment Officer for Alternative Investments and Private Markets. In 2024, L&B Partners and Banca Ifigest integrated to form a new Italian banking group spanning wealth and investment banking, with L&B Partners among the shareholders.

• Angel/seed activity is a complement to institutional work: L&B Capital SGR pairs UCITS-fund management with private equity and venture-capital investing, focused on alternative investments and private markets with an energy-transition tilt.
• Publicly stated numbers for personal angel check sizes are not disclosed; his professional advisory mandates have run into the billions of euros and multiple GW of generation capacity.
