Background
François-Xavier Mauron is a Partner in Andera Partners’ Andera MidCap team and was appointed Managing Partner of Andera Partners in February 2025 for a two-year term alongside Stéphane Bergez. Andera describes him as having joined the management company in 2010 and as part of the mid-market team.
Before Andera, Mauron worked in private equity at Activa Capital from 2004 to 2010 as an Investment Director. Andera lists his Activa deal experience across healthcare, distribution, and B2B services, including Vivactis, Delpharm, F.Saget / Linvosges, BFI Optilas, and Ergalis.
Earlier in his career, he worked in mergers and acquisitions at KPMG Corporate Finance in London and Paris from 2000 to 2004. He graduated from HEC Paris in 2000 and has chaired the HEC Alumni Club for M&A and Private Equity since 2015. He speaks French, German, and English.
