Glenn Gold

Glenn A. Gold is the President and Founder of Lytton Financial Inc., a Toronto-based boutique investment banking firm he established in 2004. The firm focuses on capital raising and financial advisory services — including placement agent work, private placements, corporate finance, and mergers-and-acquisitions advisory — for funds, corporations, and entrepreneurs. Lytton positions itself as a selective advisor that takes on only a few mandates per year in order to give each concentrated attention, drawing on longstanding relationships with institutional investors, financial institutions, money managers, family offices, and high-net-worth investors.

Gold brings more than three decades of investment banking experience. Before founding Lytton, he was Executive Vice-President and Managing Director, Head of Corporate Finance and Advisory (investment banking) at HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., where he also served on the board of HSBC Capital Canada Inc., the firm's merchant bank. Earlier in his career he was Director and Co-Head of Investment Banking at Richardson Greenshields of Canada Limited, one of Canada's established investment dealers.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), reported from Western University (Ivey), and holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He has served as a director of public companies and charitable organizations.
