He has worked alongside two generations of the Procaccianti family leadership for more than three decades and sits as a senior member of the firm's Investment Committee. Investment Thesis & Focus
- Invests in direct real estate at the asset level, not in venture-stage operating companies — primarily hospitality/lodging, multi-family, office, mixed-use, and real estate private credit (first-mortgage and distressed debt).
- Deploys across the full risk spectrum: core and core-plus, value-add, opportunistic, alternatives, and distressed/debt strategies.
- Operates as a vertically integrated platform — the Procaccianti umbrella includes property management, asset management, brokerage, development/construction, and related operating subsidiaries — so the firm underwrites deals it can also operate and manage.
- Raises and deploys through institutional capital and multiple investment funds, plus a non-traded hotel REIT (Procaccianti Hotel REIT) for select-service lodging.
- Track record emphasis: 10B+ of commercial real estate transactions since 1958, 160+ hotels and 5,000+ multi-family units owned/operated.
Notable Investments
- Procaccianti Hotel REIT, Inc. — Non-traded REIT of select-service hotels; five-hotel portfolio across four states; $32.8M revenue in 2025.
- Residence Inn, Providence — 176-room, ~$60 million hotel development topped off by Procaccianti Companies (reported by NEREJ).
- 2005 hotel acquisition program — The Procaccianti Group completed more than $600 million in hotel acquisitions in a single year (2005).
- Broadly: 160+ hotels and 5,000+ multi-family units across the firm's six-decade history, financed with institutional partners including CalPERS, Lone Star Funds, and Rockbridge.
