Isabelle Gallo

Isabelle Drault Gallo is a French venture investor and former entrepreneur. She graduated from ESSEC Business School with a Master in Management in 2010, after preparatory studies at Lycée Saint-Louis and an international baccalaureate at Centre International de Valbonne. Her Malt profile also lists AMF certification in 2021.

She began her career at Bain & Company in Paris as a strategy consultant, advising European leaders in sectors including private equity, retail, and media. In 2014, she co-founded Pepeats, a B2B mobile payment and retention startup for restaurants and bars, where she worked on product, business development, and partnerships.

Gallo joined Breega in September 2016 when the firm was still early in its development. Breega announced in February 2020 that she had been promoted from Principal to Partner, making her the firm’s first non-founding partner. During her Breega tenure, she worked on Seed and Venture investments, sat on boards including Libeo, EyeLights, Gymlib, Trustpair, and SoSure, and later led Breega’s European Venture activity. TechCrunch reported in June 2022 that Breega’s Barcelona office was headed by Gallo after the firm closed a €250m venture fund.

In October 2023, she joined SISTA Fund as Managing Partner alongside Tatiana Jama. Maddyness reported that she joined after seven years at Breega to help build a fund financing startups founded by women entrepreneurs and gender-balanced teams. Her Malt profile reports that her SISTA Fund role ran from October 2023 to April 2025, and that she helped raise €60m in 12 months, bringing assets under management to more than €70m.
