Ivy Jean

Ivy Jean, also listed in Chinese as 簡丹, is Chairperson of Taipei Angels Investment, where the firm says she is responsible for strategic planning. A 2022 Taiwan angel-investment summit bio also listed her as General Partner and Director of Taipei Angels Investment Co., responsible for strategic investing.

Before angel investing, Jean spent about 20 years in senior technology-industry roles across Microsoft, Autodesk, and Check Point. Taipei Angels’ profile says she previously served as Director and General Manager of Check Point Taiwan, General Manager of Autodesk Taiwan, Sales Manager at Microsoft Taiwan, and Programmer at Deloitte Taiwan.

Her operating background is concentrated in sales, channel development and management, operating strategy, team building, communication, and motivation. Taipei Angels notes that she received Autodesk’s 2005 global Diamond Award, 2002 Asia-Pacific Tiger Award, Greater China Dragon Award, and Microsoft’s annual MVP recognition.

Jean is also active in Taiwan’s startup ecosystem outside Taipei Angels. The 2022 angel-summit speaker bio lists her as an entrepreneurial consultant at ITRI’s TAcc+ accelerator and a reviewer for Taipei City Government’s SITI and GISA programs. Government and university sources in 2025-2026 also show her continuing to speak and mentor on startup internationalization, fundraising, and entrepreneurship.
