Jaithip Kanjanapoo

Jaithip Kanjanapoo is a longtime Thailand-based Partner at Navis Capital Partners, one of Southeast Asia's largest and oldest private equity firms. He was raised and educated in Thailand, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in statistics and an MBA in Finance, both from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. Born in October 1968, he is a Thai national resident in Thailand. His name (Kanjanapoo/Kanjanapas is a well-known Thai surname) should not be confused with the unrelated Kanjanapas business family behind BTS Group and King Power.

Navis Capital Partners was founded in 1998 and specializes in transforming mid-market companies in Southeast Asia into regional and global leaders. The firm manages over USD 5 billion in private capital, employs roughly 100 professionals spanning 17 nationalities, and is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, with Jaithip anchoring the firm's Thailand coverage. As a Partner, his role combines deal origination, execution, and hands-on portfolio management rather than passive minority investing.

Much of Jaithip's identifiable track record sits in food and agribusiness. He served on the board of Bangkok Ranch PLC — one of the world's larger integrated duck producers — and its international operations, including a directorship at Cherry Valley Farms Limited, the UK-based duck-breeding business, from March 2010 to July 2017. He also held director roles across a cluster of related "Golden Quality" food, poultry, and trading entities.
