Jason Campbell Cfa Caia

Jason Campbell is a Principal in the investment consulting practice at Eckler Ltd., a Canadian consulting and actuarial firm with offices across Canada and the Caribbean. He joined Eckler in 2006 and was appointed Principal in May 2013. In his consulting role he provides investment strategy advice to a broad range of institutional clients, including defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pension plans, endowments and foundations, corporations, and non-profit organizations.

His area of specialization is alternative investments — infrastructure, real estate, private equity, private debt strategies, and hedge funds — as well as institutional risk management. Within Eckler he sits on the Investment Research Steering Committee, which oversees the firm's investment manager and strategy research. He is also an active public speaker, regularly presenting on investment strategy at industry conferences and events (for example, the CAASA Alternative Perspectives program).

Campbell graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Dean's Honour List). He subsequently earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.

Beyond his consulting work, Campbell is active in the industry and community: he has served on the Canadian Investment Review Editorial/Advisory Board, was appointed to the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) Canadian Investment Committee, volunteers on CNIB's National Investment & Pension Committee, and serves as a director and Secretary of the board at Canada's National Ballet School / NBS Foundation.
