Jason Eiswerth

Jason Eiswerth is a technology executive and investor with more than 20 years of experience across capital markets, B2B SaaS operating roles, and direct/private investing. He earned a dual degree in Economics and English Literature from Lafayette College. He began his career at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers, working in capital markets and institutional fixed income.

Eiswerth then moved into operating and product roles. He founded and ran TheMarkets.com, leading sales, business development, and operations from inception through its acquisition by Capital IQ (S&P). He also incubated, built, and led MeritMark through its sale to WallStreetOnDemand (later part of IHS Markit). This operating track record in financial-data SaaS later became central to his investment lens.

From January 2016 to mid-2020, he served as Managing Director and Head of Private Investments at Nima Capital, the New York single-family office of entrepreneur–investor Suna Said. Nima invests globally across the capital structure and stage, backing technology companies with winner-take-all dynamics; its portfolio includes marquee names such as Palantir, Coupang, and Instacart. As head of private investments, Eiswerth sourced and managed the firm's direct private-company positions.

In September 2020, Eiswerth was appointed CEO of Canoe Intelligence, a fintech company automating alternative-investment document and data management for hundreds of investment firms (allocators, wealth managers, family offices). He continues to serve in that role and describes himself as passionate about mentoring and building companies, advising multiple early-stage and middle-market businesses.
