Jason Perlroth

Jason Perlroth is a private-equity executive with nearly two decades of experience in investing, deal origination, and business development. Since January 2022 he has been a Principal and Head of Business Development at Southfield Capital, a Greenwich, CT–based lower-middle-market private equity firm focused on high-growth outsourced business-services companies. In that role he leads deal origination and sourcing, assesses new investment opportunities, and oversees the firm's marketing and communications. On joining, he said: *"Southfield Capital has built a differentiated platform and has a thoughtful approach to building partnerships. I'm excited to be a part of the team."*

Before Southfield, Perlroth was a Principal and Head of Business Development at BHMS Investments (Westport/Greenwich, CT), a middle-market private equity firm founded in 2010 by former Morgan Stanley and KKR executives that invests in North American business, healthcare, and insurance services companies. At BHMS he oversaw the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities and managed the firm's external relationships, including lenders for acquisition and portfolio-company debt financing. Earlier in his career, Perlroth was a founding employee and executive at Sutton Place Strategies (a deal-origination and business-development analytics firm later acquired by BCG) and a co-founder of Grand Run Capital, a commercial real-estate private-equity independent sponsor. He began his career in finance and investing roles at American Capital, Greenwich Associates, and Moore Capital Management.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance (with honors) from Quinnipiac University, where he serves on the School of Business Dean's Advisory Council. He also sits on the finance committee of Pentacle (DanceWorks, Inc.). He resides in Manhattan with his wife.
