Jason Stern

Jason Stern has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and serves as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Syndicate at WestPark Capital, Inc., a Los Angeles–based international investment bank founded in 1999 that specializes in small-cap investment banking, structured IPOs, and capital markets. In his role he focuses on operations, compliance, corporate-finance transaction coordination, and the syndication (distribution) of the firm's underwritten securities offerings.

He began his career in 1989 at the Boston-based brokerage Gruntal & Company, and later served as a Vice President at Prudential Securities in Beverly Hills. He went on to become President of Beverly Hills Capital, Inc., where he oversaw the merger and acquisition of three independently owned boutique investment-banking franchises and trained more than 100 registered stockbrokers. Prior to WestPark, he was also Branch Manager for Global Capital Securities' Santa Monica and Beverly Hills offices, where he led a team of more than 60 people, including roughly 50 financial advisors and 10 support staff, with responsibility for operational management and corporate-finance transactions.

Stern was educated at Northeastern University and Boston University, both with a focus on economics and finance. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 registrations — the Series 24 principal license being consistent with his supervisory/syndicate-management responsibilities.
