Jean Pierre Grimaud

Jean-Pierre Grimaud is the Chief Executive Officer of Ofi Invest, the asset-management arm of Aéma Groupe. Ofi Invest was created in September 2022 by combining the activities of Aviva Investors France, Aviva Investors Real Estate France, Aéma REIM, and the OFI group. The new group was announced as the fifth-largest French asset-management group at creation, with EUR 195 billion in assets under management at end-2021.

Grimaud joined OFI Asset Management in 2015 as Chief Executive Officer. In 2026, Ofi Invest Asset Management appointed Éric Bertrand as its CEO, effective 27 March 2026, allowing Grimaud to focus fully on his role as CEO of the Ofi Invest group.

Before OFI/Ofi Invest, Grimaud worked at Swiss Life France as Investment Director and then CEO. He became a member of the Swiss Life France Executive Committee in 2002, was appointed Chairman of Swiss Life AM France in 2007, and took charge of Swiss Life’s third-party asset-management business in 2011. Earlier in his career, he was Head of Fixed Income at Banque Française d’Investissement from 1986, Head of International Fixed Income and relations with banks and financial institutions at CPR Gestion from 1993, and Head of Fixed Income and Global Head of Credit Analysis at HSBC AM Europe from 1997.

He is a graduate of ENSAE and the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Management in Angers. He also served as Chairman of AF2I, the French Association of Institutional Investors, from 2007 to 2011.
