Background
Jennifer Tsui-Hui Huang, formally listed by Hotung as Tsui-Hui Huang, is Chairman and CEO of Hotung Investment Holdings Limited and Hotung International Company Ltd. Hotung describes itself as a venture capital investment group with more than 35 years of investment and fund-management experience, listed on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange since 1997.
Huang started her career in mergers and acquisitions at Bankers Trust Company in 1988. From 1998 to 2005, she was active in Taiwan’s international securities industry as Chairman of the International Business Committee of the Taiwan Securities Association and served as a board director of the Taipei Exchange.
She became President of Hotung International Company Ltd., Hotung Group’s management company, in June 2005; Managing Director of Hotung Investment Holdings in August 2006; Chairman of Hotung International in April 2009; and Chairman and CEO of Hotung Investment Holdings in July 2010. She served as Chairman of the Taiwan Venture Capital Association from 2014 to 2020 and has been its Honorary Chairman since August 2020.
Huang holds a B.A. in Business from National Taiwan University and an M.B.A. from Cornell University. Since May 2022, she has also served as an independent director of Global Unichip Corporation, an IC design-service subsidiary of TSMC.
Investment Thesis & Focus

- RiVos — AI and data-center compute platform; Hotung’s 2025 annual report says Meta acquired RiVos for strategic reasons, producing a successful Hotung exit within less than two years from initial investment.
- TAHO Pharmaceuticals — Specialty pharmaceutical company focused on drug-delivery systems; Hotung fully disposed of its TAHO holdings after more than ten years, realizing a total gain of NT$157 million.
