Background
Jeremy Stone is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Palm Peak Capital, a Boca Raton-based private equity firm launched in 2024 by Stone, Daniel Florian, and M. Steven Liff. At Palm Peak, he serves on the firm’s Investment Committee and Executive Committee.
Before founding Palm Peak, Stone was a Partner and Senior Managing Director at Sun Capital Partners, where he led the North American industrial sector investment team. Sun Capital announced in January 2017 that Stone had been promoted to Managing Director; at that time, the firm said he had joined Sun Capital as an Associate in 2005 and specialized in general industrial, building products, chemicals, and packaging.
During his Sun Capital tenure, Stone worked on dozens of transactions across industrial sub-verticals including industrial technology, chemicals, packaging, building materials, and distribution. Palm Peak lists representative investments from that period including American Standard, Architectural Surfaces Group, Arrow Tru-Line, Coveris Americas, Calcium Products, Demilec, Emerald Performance Materials, Kovalus Separation Solutions, Sonneborn, and Stake Center.
Earlier in his career, Stone worked at Duff & Phelps in Chicago on investment banking and related advisory services. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is based in Boca Raton, Florida.
