Jerume Thumas

Jérôme Thomas is an Investment Director at Korys, the entrepreneurial investment company of Belgium's Colruyt family. He is responsible for Korys' listed equity investment team, whose mandate is to pursue the firm's "3P" (People, Planet, Profit) objectives within public markets, concentrating capital in the firm's three focus ecosystems: Conscious Consumer, Healthy Living, and Energy Transition.

He joined Korys in 2009. Before that he worked as an M&A Analyst at Fortis Bank in Paris. He holds a Master in Management Science from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and is a CFA charterholder.

Korys itself is a single-family office headquartered in Halle, Belgium. The family built the Colruyt Group into one of Europe's leading food-retail businesses, and over the past two decades Korys has assembled a portfolio of sustainable investments valued at over €4 billion — spanning listed stocks and bonds, private equity funds, and more than 20 direct participations (including Colruyt Group and Virya Energy). Jérôme's remit sits specifically on the liquid/listed side of this multi-asset structure rather than the direct-investment or venture side.
