Background
Huang Jiabing (born 1976, Chinese nationality) is a career finance professional and the Chief Financial Officer of Shenzhen Comix Group Co., Ltd., one of China's largest suppliers of branded office products. He holds an undergraduate degree and a Master of Science in Applied Accounting and Finance, and is a qualified intermediate accountant (中级会计师 / 会计师) in China.
His career began in industrial cost accounting: from 1997 to 2002 he served as Cost Section Chief at the Hubei Zaoyang Chemical Industry General Company. He then spent 2002–2009 as a Finance Manager in the Lighting & Electrical Appliances Division of TCL Corporation, one of China's major electronics groups. He joined Shenzhen Comix Group in September 2009, initially running the Marketing Finance section and later the Financial Accounting section.
He rose through the finance organization to become the group's Chief Financial Officer, and was appointed to the Board of Directors on 14 January 2014. Multiple corporate profiles list his current combined roles as Director, Deputy General Manager, CFO, Board Secretary, and a member of the company's Strategy Committee; he has held the senior CFO-level position since roughly 2016. The company itself was founded in 1991, employs on the order of 1,800+ people, and is chaired by Chen Qinpeng (陈钦鹏), who became Chairman and General Manager in 2022.
Comix has evolved from a pure stationery manufacturer into a diversified office-services group, expanding into B2B office procurement and cloud/"smart office" services. As CFO and a member of the Strategy Committee, Huang sits close to the group's capital-allocation, financing, and corporate-development decisions — the practical sense in which his role touches "investment."
Investment Thesis & Focus
- No documented personal angel thesis. No public statements, portfolio, or seed-investment record attributable to Huang Jiabing as an individual angel could be found. Founders should treat the "angel investor / seed" label from the source list as unverified.
- Corporate lens, not venture lens. His decision-making authority is as a company CFO/Strategy-Committee member — i.e., financing, M&A, and strategic-investment decisions on behalf of Shenzhen Comix Group, in the office-supplies and B2B office-procurement space.
- Sector adjacency: any Comix-level investment interest would sit around its core business — office/stationery products, office equipment consumables, B2B procurement platforms, and cloud/"smart office" software and services.
- Geography: China-centric, consistent with the group's domestic manufacturing/distribution footprint and international export sales.
Notable Investments
- No verified personal angel investments. No individually made seed deals could be sourced.
- The nearest verifiable "investment" activity is at the corporate level of Shenzhen Comix Group, which over the past decade has expanded beyond stationery into B2B office procurement and cloud/video-conferencing services through corporate development and acquisitions. These are company transactions in which the CFO participates in his official capacity — they are not personal deals and should not be attributed to him individually. *(Specific transaction names/years were not confirmed to a primary source in this research and are therefore omitted rather than guessed.)*
