Jie Tao

Jie Tao (陶捷), born April 1959, is a Chinese entrepreneur and engineer best known as the founder, controlling shareholder, and chairman of Jiangxi Riyueming Measurement & Control Technology Co., Ltd. (日月明), a company specializing in high-speed-railway digital track-measurement and control equipment. He holds a master's degree in commercial economics from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and is a recipient of a State Council Special Government Allowance, one of China's recognitions for distinguished technical and academic contributors. From 1981 to 1993 he worked at Nanchang University before moving fully into industry.

Since 1993 he has led the Riyueming group of companies, serving as chairman/executive director of the parent Jiangxi Riyueming Industrial Co., Ltd.
