Jill Vacek Stamets

Jill Vacek Stamets is a Partner and the Chief Financial Officer / Chief Compliance Officer of EIV Capital, LLC, a Houston-based energy-focused private equity firm founded in 2009. She joined EIV Capital in 2014 and oversees the firm's financial reporting, controls, compliance, and fund operations across its growth-equity platform, which invests in the North American energy value chain.

Prior to EIV Capital, Jill served as Director of Finance and Controller of the Asset Management Division at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., where she was responsible for financial reporting, controls, audit, and tax across the firm's platforms — including private equity funds, hedge funds, single-owner funds, and separately managed accounts — and was actively involved in investor relations, fund operations, and marketing. She began her career in the audit practice of Ernst & Young (EY), focusing primarily on the oilfield-services and private-equity industries.

Jill earned a B.B.A. in accounting and an M.S. in finance, both from Texas A&M University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas. She has served as a board member of the EY Houston Alumni Advisory Council and of the Houston chapter of the Private Equity CFO Association (PECFOA).

As CFO/CCO, Jill is a firm principal on the finance and operations side rather than a deal-sourcing investment partner; founders typically encounter her in the context of fund operations, LP relations, closing mechanics, and compliance rather than initial deal evaluation.
