Background

Jonas Levy is co-founder and managing partner of Pegasus Real Estate, a Dallas-based private commercial real estate investment firm. Pegasus says Levy oversees the company’s strategic vision and execution of investments, and that the firm was co-founded by two senior real estate executives with career transaction experience totaling more than $8 billion across multiple property types and geographies.

Before co-founding Pegasus, Levy spent 16 years in real estate and finance roles spanning public REITs and private equity commercial real estate. Pegasus states that his experience includes multifamily, industrial, retail, hospitality, self-storage, student housing, senior housing, and office assets, and that he has invested in, financed, acquired, and disposed of billions of dollars of commercial real estate.

Levy holds a BBA in Finance from the University of North Texas and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Public sources reviewed identify Levy as founder/managing partner of Pegasus Real Estate, not as CFO of Silverado Interests; Silverado Interests’ own team page lists Mark Westerburg as CFO.
