Background
Jonathan Hardie (born February 1965, British) is a Chartered Surveyor with roughly three decades of experience in the asset management and development side of the UK real estate industry. Early in his career he held positions at MEPC, Haslemere Estates and Westbrook Partners, working across a portfolio of high-profile central London office assets including 80 Strand, Cannon Bridge House and 123 Buckingham Palace Road.
He subsequently joined Wainbridge Holdings Limited — a Jersey-based property investment, development and asset manager — as Head of Asset Management, where he was tasked with growing the firm's asset management business both for assets within the Wainbridge Global Opportunity London Fund and for third-party mandates. This is the role reflected in the stub data, and the wainbridge.com email/switchboard number originate from that period.
In autumn 2015 Hardie moved to EQT Real Estate, joining EQT's newly formed property arm as a director (registered as a member of EQT Partners UK Advisors II LLP from 1 October 2015 to 31 December 2017). His move followed EQT co-heads Edouard Fernandez and Rob Rackind, who had themselves come across from Wainbridge earlier that year.
