Joshua Andrew Lane is a business-law attorney and investment-firm legal executive. Lawyer Legion identifies him as a California attorney licensed since 2004, educated at UCLA School of Law, and formerly associated with Tarsadia Investments in Newport Beach, California. An SEC filing for Velocity Merger Corp. lists him as Secretary and states that he joined Tarsadia Investments as General Counsel in 2014.

At Tarsadia, Lane served as General Counsel while the firm invested across venture and growth equity, life sciences, and real estate. The Velocity Merger Corp. S-1 says his earlier private-practice work included being a partner at K&L Gates, where his practice covered mergers and acquisitions, finance transactions, corporate governance, SEC and stock-exchange compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution.

Bestige Holdings’ team page currently lists Josh Lane as General Counsel. Bestige says he leads the firm’s legal function and advises across fund and portfolio-company activity. The firm describes his experience as spanning more than twenty years across in-house general counsel roles and private practice, with deep private-equity experience in M&A and financing transactions.

There is a public-source conflict around his current affiliation: Bestige’s own site and LinkedIn search results identify him with Bestige Holdings, while October 2025 legal-industry coverage reported that K&L Gates welcomed Josh Lane back as a corporate partner in Nashville after roles at Prolific and Tarsadia. Because Bestige’s own site is a primary source and appears current, this profile treats Bestige as the current firm while noting the K&L Gates report in recent activity.
